I would love to figure out a way to mount our 3axis heads on the bodies and be able to adjust the front to back angle. The necks of the skeleton bodies are angled forward which presents a number of issues such as the jaw hitting the neck and the weight of the head being shifted even more forward than they already are and straining servos.

How do you guys do it? Currently I use couplers to mount the skulls and would love to have some way to connect the head and be able to adjust it to a more "heads up" position.

One easy way is to bend the spine rod that runs all the way up to the skull in a bucky skeleton back. Just a small 15 or 20 degree angle should do it. Then attach the coupler. Just bend it right near the top, but low enough for the coupler to slide all the way on the bent portion.

I think I remember trying that before but that steel is some kind of tough and I think I was afraid of breaking things. I'll try again and maybe try and figure out some way to hold the neck in a vise or something while I bend.

Have you been able to thread that rod? If so, what size die did you use?
