We don't have that much room in front of our house for much and with no garage, well we just have to make do. The sidewalk is the only flat area of the yard and driveway. This year I did a mad lab with alot of things I already had. I spent about 100.00 total on new things but came up with some cool stuff on my own. First the pictures:

The Rat and some of the Glass recepticles I bought. The Alien stasis tube which bubbled was made from a large glass vase which was clear siliconed to a CD holder clear spindle case and bottom. Lighting was added to the base to give an electronic pulse to it and a blacklight dye was added to the water to glow green. The potion bottles were made up of Spice jars with lids, bottles that I etheir had or bought from Michael's Art store. Glow pipe cleaners, hand made box painted silver with jewel accents for button lights, print out of front dials and reading marks for machine. The blood candle I made from red apple scented candle dipped in white wax till no red showed and then lit the candle for a few hours to get the dripping going.
The brain in the other glass jar also bubbled and was made from gummy candy so as the night progressed it got larger. The water was colored with blacklight dye for orange glow effect. Glow bottles and jars were made from hilighter pens drained into water and placed in front of black lights. The specimen jars had some cool edible things in them to gross out the tot'ers, such as beef jerky as dehydrated Bat wings, gummy worms, gummy bugs, etc. Grave yard dirt with gummy worms were a big hit. (dirt was made blending up chocolate Oreos, and Nestle Quick powder) looked pretty real and also test tubes with M&Ms etc. I already had the Plasma Ball from Spencers and to top it off, I had also done Petri dishes with jello cultures which are not shown here but placed on the racks near the blue toxic punch and glasses.

Looks great, or gross, either way nice job. I LOVE the alien. My lab was my favorite area too. The kids at our party always end up mixing everything up in other jars so I have to watch what I put in them, mostly just colored water and soap, they have a blast. It looks like you spent A LOT of time on this, I hope everyone appreciates it.
