A lot of the halloween places are not going below 50% anymore they are just storing till next year. There has been a dramatic turn in the last 3 years or so. They probably will not put it on sale.

I have heard that only select items are going to be on clearance this year.

I think that stores are moving more and more to this (especially online stores).

Seeing how Spirit isn't paying a short term lease on their main warehouse; I would be shocked if they put their online inventory on sale at 50% since they are not paying to move it back to their warehouse.

November 1st the temporary B&M Spirits near me had EVERYTHING 50% off. Was surprised to see the deal work on fogmachines, strobe lights and other props.

Brick and mortars had 50% off, faithfully. Reason being, they want to pack up as little as possible when they go. I'm gonna guess there's two reasons why Spirit online has held off 50% off entire stock. One is that this year sales were up. People were spending again. Brick and mortars confirmed this. Taking that cue, I believe Spirit online is holding off on 50% off because they believe they'll indeed sell the goods at full price- probably rightly so. Last year was different. People were still not spending so the incentive was there for the big savings to move product. The second reason I believe is to give the brick and mortars a chance to actually make the money, instead of everyone jumping on line and getting the big sale having never taken off their slippers. And I think that's only fair too. The people putting in all that effort and work in brick and mortars SHOULD be able to capitalize first.

I don't think Spirit online will do 50% off on entire inventory this year. They'll have select pieces dump into select clearence every so often, with the majority being just costumes. It may be that by Christmas or shortly after all will go to 50% just to clear out inventory. We'll see. I don't take anything away from them not doing a huge sale. I only take issue because all of the animatronic props truly aren't worth full price, imo. I have many of them- I know. They're all more fairly priced at half off, considering the QUALITY you're getting. When I score spirit animatronics at half price, I feel I've paid an appropriate price for it. At full price, I feel I've greatly overpaid.

All that said, I'm keeping my eyes open just the same. And if I can't get a deal, I won't buy- simple as that. But that's me.

I went to Spirit the day after Halloween. Almost all of the props were removed and not for the half off sale. The remainder was mostly the lame props and small items. I spent under 50.00 dollars. It was really feeble.

I went to Halloween City and all of their stuff was 50% off. I dropped over a $100.00 dollars. I found Spirit Halloween extremely disappointing this year. I have to wonder if they will be in business next year.
