i found these through a local classified ad.
based on the plugs/hard crunchy wires, i'd say ther some old.
the wiring will have to be replaced (i see at least a 40 breaks in the wire)
but the bulbs themselves seem to work fine.
never seen a lightbulb like them. pretty darn cool though.

Wow! Those are pretty cool. I bet you can't find those bulbs anywhere anymore.

i spend a lot of time in antique stores, and i haven't come across them before this.
