Thread: Help with song ID....

Hey guys,

I've been looking for a song over the last couple of days, but haven't been able to. I don't know much about music, and since the song is instrumental, I'll will have to describe it as best as I can....


-It is VERY common around Halloween time, appearing in commercials, radio spots, etc.
-It is usually played on an organ or piano (I think)
-The beginning potion is what is most commonly played
-It's often paired with simple sound effect (like a wolf howl, of lightning sound)
-To me it sounds like it would fit well with Dracula or something like the Phantom of the Opera
-If it ever did originally appear in a movie, I would think that the best setting for the song would be a large castle or hall


Any ideas as to what it may be?

Probably the Bach.

Another good one is the Berlioz Dies Irie, also there a Liszt version on Piano called Totentaz
