I always wind up listening to Skinny Puppy, it just puts me in right frame of mind to scare.

Life is too short to not do what makes us happy, keeps us sane, or both.

Well I have a mixed cd with all my favorite halloween movie theme music.
The only downfall of Halloween is it only happens once a year.

Generally what I'm listening to are the songs I'm considering putting together in the mix I'm making. This year rather than throwing my own party I'm supplying music for someone else's, so the songs of the moment are mostly Halloween oldies... blues, doo-wop, and crazy fifties rockin' tunes.

Besides the party mix though I also usually have a side mix going. I make a short Halloween mix for someone (family/friends) pretty much every year as a gift... this year it is going to be my sister (shhh! - it's a surprise), so I've got those songs in my head too. And, just to throw some confusion in, I'm also making an anti-mix - since my sister has kids and she plays my mixes in the house, there's some songs I can't use for her, even though they're really great. So I'm throwing all those songs in an anti-mix folder - and if I have time, I'm going to put all those together as a mix of "rude" songs.

So basically at work when I think no one else is in the office I'm singing a mixture of, "The devil ain't lazy/No sirree!", "I hear a hoot owl...", "I never chose this fate (More brains!)", "Spider on my bed/Spider on my bed/Spider on my bed" and "We're comin' to kill ya, We're comin' to kill ya, comin' to kill ya..."

It makes for a very interesting moment when it turns out that my boss *is* still there...
