Hey, I'm just wondering if anyone on here has used either of Departed Studios albums - Teeming or Dark Environments. I think the Dark Environments one seems pretty cool and has some "environment" sounds that I would use since I do a Cannibal Kitchen or a Mad Scientist Lab each year (I switch between the two). Not sure if I should invest the money though as I already have a lot of Halloween cd's and mp3's - but I don't have anything like this yet. It's also local to me so it'd be kinda cool to "support" it I think. I know they have a quote from Larry on their website, just wondered what anyone else thought of it. Their website is just departedstudios.com if you wanna check em out, they have clips of some of their tracks. Lemme know what you think if you check it out! Thanks!

I'm posting in this thread 'cuz it's the most recent with "Departed Studios" that turned up in my search.

I got the "Teeming" mp3 album from Amazon and was impressed enough that I wanted "Dark Environments". I ordered the digital download and paid via PayPal, but wasn't directed to a download site or emailed any links. That was just over two days ago. Their site says to allow 24-48 hours to process, which seems unusual unless they're somehow processing everything manually or don't check their email regularly.

Anyway, I've emailed them and I suppose all I can do is wait a while before I ask for a refund. Just wondering if anyone else has gotten "Dark Environments" recently and what your customer experience was like.

I bought the very 1st album "It's under the Bed" they had made 2 years before "Teeming" cd ( a limited press ), when they came out with "Teeming" I had emailed them it was an extension of the 1st album & I didn't want to pay the the same stuff again just to get the new added songs.
Kirk was great & billed me 1/2 price on "Teeming". When he put out "Dark Environments", I bought that one immediately. I love they're Cd's & looking forward if they create out another one
& supporting an artist is good too !

They always seemed on top of things, so glad that they got back to you about it.
