I plan on having multiple audio playing on my computer and what i would like to do is have each program be routed to a separate speaker. For example one channel would be one of my animatronics that I'm making and maybe another channel would be background music in another area. Has anybody done anything like this. I would prefer an external device so I can connect it to laptop. I was looking at m-audio ProFire 610 but don't know if it can assign programs to each channel and also feel it is really over kill.
