Most of my life (I'm 47), whenever I heard the Doors song "People are Strange" I have visions of skeletons dancing, ghost and goblins and such.
is it just me? I'm curious does anyone else see it like this?
Now, I'm not a Doors fan by any stretch of the imagination, I want to add it to my music I play the night of and thought I should get other opinions first. Thanks.

Oh, Definitely add it. I have a halloween playlist for my party. But I also have a halloween CD I've made of my favorite halloween songs and that is definitely on it.
I usually think of Lost Boys. That's where I first heard that song growing up._________
"You're incredibly bonkers...but all the best people are"
"Go to Heaven for the climate, Hell for the company."
"Jesus started the zombie movement."

That is a kind of creepy sounding song. I would add it.
Eventhough I am Dead it is always warm inside my bed.

I am a HUGE Doors fan so I say add it
It doesn't remind me of halloween but it's still cool.

Yup, it's definitely in "theme" for Halloween.
I just saw Lost Boys, and think it's a shame they used a cover of the song for the movie - not that it was bad, but why redo it if you aren't going to do a different take? (Echo and the Bunnymen used in the film)I'm a Halloween Bride! 10/31/2002

I incorporated it into my holiday playlist when I saw a stage play which was a reinvention of sorts of "The Legend of Sleepy Hollow" and the song was used at scene involving masks at a Halloween party.
