I am doing an Alice Cooper themed Light-O-Rama show this Halloween and I am still up in the air about some of the song choices. He has so many songs that are perfect for Halloween that it's hard to pare them down! I want to do between 15-20 minutes in the set.
So far I have 2 songs that I am DEFINITELY using:
He's Back (The Man Behind the Mask) 3:49
Keepin' Halloween Alive 2:17
The list of possibilities is much longer:
Welcome to My Nightmare 5:21 - great song but fairly down tempo
Steven 5:46 - one of my favorites but I may be the only person who knows it :P
I Love the Dead 5:08 - classic Alice...creepy and disturbing
Sick Things 4:16 - another creepy tune from Billion Dollar Babies
Teenage Frankenstein 3:41 - fun & up tempo from Alice's metal phase
Then there is the classic trilogy from Raise Your Fist and Yell:
Chop Chop Chop
Gail
Roses on White Lace
These 3 songs tell the story of a murderer who kills a young bride to be. Gail is one of the spookiest songs I've ever heard but I don't know about using it without the other two songs from the trilogy.
I know, I know...there are many I didn't list here. That's YOUR job. Tell me what you think...PLEASE! If you have suggestions, be they on this list or not, please let me know. The clock is ticking, the season starts in just over 4 months!
Thanks to everyone who responds!

I love Alice Cooper.

Feed My Frankenstein always gets me in a Halloween state of mind.
And the songs from his Along Came a Spider cd tell a story about a serial killer some of them have some definite creep factor. The only good clown is a dead clown.

The essential Alice Cooper Halloween songs. Hmmmm.....
"Welcome To My Nightmare"- this is a given
If you're gonna use "Steven", you HAVE TO use all three:
"Years Ago","Steven", and "The Awakening"- this is a trilogy and should be used as so.
Some others I would suggest:
"Feed My Frankenstein"-not sure which album this is from, but I got it from the "Wayne's World" soundtrack
"Millie And Billie"- a song from "From The Inside"-kind of upbeat with dark overtones. I particularly like the sound of a power saw at the end.
"Zombie Dance"- from his album "Dirty Diamonds"-this is DEFINITELY a Halloween song.
And, of course, his latest, "Keepin' Halloween Alive"

"Waiter, there's a hair in my soylent green!"

How about "Tag, you're it" from his Zipper Catches Skin album?

How about Poison or House of Pain?

One other thing, have you checked to make sure it's legal to use these songs in a for-profit venture? As a booker for a music club, I have to deal with licensing issues from time to time.
You may want to check with an attorney to make sure it's all nice and legal to use copyrighted songs. I'd hate for you to get shut down or fined.

I don't know which album it was on or it may only be on the soundtrack but back in 86 he did the theme song for Friday the 13th part 6 called, I believe, " He's back( The man behind the mask )".
