I'd like to create my own sound effects. Maybe take something like a bell toll, wind, owl, insects, ect and combine or layer them all into one. This is new to me so i'm looking for a place to start. I have read a little about Goldwave (
Goldwave Multiquence) and Audacity. Would like to find something relativly easy to use.

Audacity at Audacity: Free Audio Editor and Recorder is great. Once you understand how the layers work it is pretty easy to use. And free!
