Would the phrase "Vinyl Macabre" be copyrighted because it was the title of one of Elvira's albums? I'm totally clueless on this issue and thought someone around here was sure to know the answer.

Not copyrighted so much as maybe "licensed." A lot would depend on how you planned to use it. If you are planning to market and sell something with the title, I'd check with a lawyer. If you want to call your haunt that, or something similar, you probably aren't going to have any issues.

I was hoping to use it as a dot com name. I wouldn't be selling anything, but the website would be sponsoring things from time to time. Perhaps I should check with her agent or something...

I did a search and it's not in use. Neither is macabrevinyl.com. If you went with the latter, you wouldn't have any problems at all. I'd also be really surprised if Cassandra or her people had any real issues with you using vinylmacabre. Good luck!
