I'm looking for a distorted clock sound for my 13 hour clock. I'd like it to have a loud ticking sound and then go into the gonging. But I want the gonging sound to be distorted (going loud and soft, fast and slow), like what you would think it would sound like to someone who is high or drunk!
If anyone can help, please let me know.

    Thanks!!
There will come a time when you have a chance to do the right thing.
I love those moments. I like to wave at them as they pass by.

You might want to try recording a regular clock in MP3 format. When it gongs, move the microphone around the clock and from different angles and distances. You won't get different speeds this way, but the modulation might be cool.

P.S. put cotton over the mic to cut out wind noise.

I have a mp3 file of a clock striking 13, but no clue how to distort it. You can find it here:

    Clock Strikes 13

It doesn't include any ticking either. Sorry.
