Thread: Just got back from The Misfits concert!!

OMG OMG OMG... just AWESOME.

They did a number of cuts from the new album (which is pretty good), but then they took off with Static Age and played sooooo many of their older songs - Die Die, My Darling, HALLOWEEN (obviously the hubby and I were really hoping they would play that one ), Mommy, Can I Go Out and Kill Tonight, We Are 138, Attitude, Skulls, She, Hate Breeders, Where Eagles Dare, The Shining, American Psycho, Scream.... wow, just wow.

Jerry and Dez were just killing it the whole way through and the new drummer was amazing.

Truly one of the best shows I've seen...

And I got to meet Jerry!! One friend is good friends with Jerry and another does lots of their gig artwork (a most talented artist - he's done them and Hank III and lots of other great bands' artwork - www.badmoonstudios.net) so we got to talk to Jerry a little bit and he signed a gazillion things for us and got a pic of us with him. He is so nice.

I'm still geeking out about the whole thing.... don't even care that I'm going to have to get up for work - in less than 5 hours.

Sounds like fun.

Glad you followed through on that and decided to go! See? Definitely worth it
