Ok I have a killer halloween party every year... this years theme is Day of the Dead (not the Romero movie)!

I am trying to come up with music that kinda fits the SW/Mexican/bordertowns type atmosphere...

I have on my play list so far:

    Rev. Horton Heat
    Murder By Death
    Old 97's
    Route 66 Killers
    The Diablotones
From Dusk Til Dawn soundtrack (excellent by the way)
The White Stripes (a few of there songs are very southwest blues)
    Drive-By Truckers
    Bellvue Cadillac

Plus some 80's hits for the girls... if it were up to only me I would only play creepy stuff but its a party and I have to keep everyone entertained...

Can you guys suggest anything else that has the creepy desert rock and roll feel to it?

    Thanks! RRP

After the riddlebox I was rather un-enamoured. All the cards fell.. then the wrestling... I guess I just expected more out of such a great premise. So, that said... I would highly recommend some songs... But alot of it is... meh. Just for the record.. I dressed as an evil clown and drank faygo wayyy before they ever mentioned it.
