    Which do you prefer?

Personally, I think Midnight Syndicate is more memorable. Nox does have more diverse themes. I'd give the edge to MS.

I agree with you complication. Nox Arcana is pretty good. They have creative/imaginative ideas that accompany catchy little pieces of hauntingly sweet music , however, their songs can sound too organized as if they are bound to a straight track that doesnt move up or down resulting in redundancy and lack of tempo change. Some of their songs sound like they are written for the sole purpose of what they think the listener wants, forgetting about personal gratification as a music composer. Besides, I couldnt listen to some of Nox Arcana's songs over and over again like i can with Midnight Syndicate. I think MS is more original in terms of composition, and I think Gavin Goszka from MS is extremely talented and blows Joseph Vargo and William Piotrowsk out of the water. You can tell he knows what hes doing. All in all, I respect both NA and MS for contributing to the Halloween spirit, but MS takes the lead.

I much rather Nox Arcana. I find Midnight Syndicate to be less memorable...guess it depends on the person.

Both have great songs. Historically, I'd give the edge to Midnight Syndicate. However, I think that lately Nox Arcana has been much more prolific. I'm looking forward to both of the new albums (Midnight Syndicate's Carnival Arcane coming August 2011; Nox Arcana's Dark Tower, Summer 2011.)
