Heard this band on Last.FM a while back and was first intrigued simply because the singer is a contralto (I am one, as well). I don't like many female singers because I don't like high pitches and most feminine voices don't appeal to me thanks to that - but this lady sounds completely different from most female metal singers. Her tone and range are actually very similar to mine, although our voices themselves are different.

I liked the first song that I heard from them: House on Haunted Hill. After a while, I heard a few more songs of theirs and I liked those, too.

Then I realized that not only was the first song I listened to horror-based... pretty much all of their lyrics are! In conclusion: perfect band to play on Halloween.

They even carry their instruments and gear around in a hearse!

I have a similar soundtrack.
I made a thread on here once about Halloween metal, but never got around to posting much more in it. Perhaps we should bring it back. I'm always open to discovering new metal bands/songs.

Thanks for the heads up on this. These guys are very talented musicians. The guitarists are awesome.
