I have mentioned before you could use the wallbreakers sold at the 99 Cent only stores as cement molds to make permnant skulls for your landscaping which you can enjoy all year long. Well here they are:
One is straight from the mold, two painted base coat black flat latex.
You see the Wallbreaker I used, lube it up with automatic transmission fluid, you don't need a lot
Pour in the Cement sand mix (don't use the mix with rocks in it) no picture, mix the cement until it is about like brownie mix maybe a touch thicker, it should stay on the trowel almost like cake frosting maybe a little looser. put the molds where it is easy to level, You could use a bag filled with packing peanuts I just put them in my grass. The Cement is heavy so I did not fill the hands because I did not support them properly. No matter, just the heads will do for now. After you fill them you need to tap out the air bubbles just tap the sides of the mold with the trowel. On one set I did not do this and had air voids on the next two I did tap them and saw some bubbles pop, but still had small air bubble voids when I released them from the mod.
Here they are drybrushed with white:
and in my graveyard:
I got that silly fake barrel from big lots when they did their 50% off summer. I had no idea what I was going to do with it, then I found all these different sizes of skeletons in the attic and decided to make a spare parts bin. I carved out a quick sign from spare pink foam.
That's a store bought tombstone, I have not made a tombstone in over 10 years, but the ones I made I still use today.

I used the packaging off a mask years ago to make something like these. I sunk bolts in the back while the cement was wet and then mounted them to the fronts of my cemetery columns.

I'm always looking at things like that for other uses. You could easily use it to make Celluclay/paper mache/latex faces too.
I bought some chocolate molds that were eyeballs & used them to make some Celluclay eyeballs. I plan on going to Michaels after Halloween & buying up what's left, if any, of their chocolate molds for the same thing, other uses.Roger Clyne & the Peacemakers, the best damn little band you should be listening to!

Absolutely right on RCIAG, there is a good sized skull Ice Mold at my grocery store that I am keeping on eye on.
