Thread: Halloween Graphics

I've been toying around with this idea over the last few weeks - about every time I hit up this part of the forum - and I've been wondering if anybody would be interested in it. My idea is a free graphics thread where artists submit Halloween graphics to be shared freely amongst members of the board. I know we have a lot of good artists on here, but we also have people who are lacking in this department that are often stuck for invitation designs, decorations and everything in between. This thread could also have links to free graphic sites, as well as shared tutorials (for various art programs). I think this would be a great thread to have and would like to know if anyone will jump on board?

I think that's a great idea, things like potion labels, halloween tags, greeting card images would be excellent.

I am all for it!! On my site I offer free wallpapers, free wine labels and free pumpkin stencils. Lots more will be added to the site as well.

I would like to create some free Halloween invitations - but I have yet to do it. Hopefully I can get to it soon.

Awesome, I'm glad we have some members willing to participate in this! I've decided though that we should do it up as a group. From my experience using the search it can often bring up a thread with about a thousand replies and it's tricky finding exactly what you want from that thread, this way we can post our tutorials and graphics individually making it easier to access them. The link to the group is here, I'll make a post with some general guidelines to go by.

Okay so here's the biggest issue with the group idea so far - There is no option for adding an attachment to a thread started within a group, and there is a set amount of characters used per post (no more than a thousand characters, makes for a short post). So I'm going to switch it up some. Through the group a link to a free graphics/tutorial thread on the main forum (under this section) will be provided; in the group message board you can post external links all you want! So you may provide links to free graphics, include samples, showcase your work using the samples, etc. This is currently our only option but I still feel it should work alright.

Thanks love the wine labels. Actually I think I am addicted to labels in general for Halloween. )

I will help out.....I am always putting my spin on graphics that I do for all the Birthdays here.
