Thank you! I saw online last Christmas where someone had used the soup can lids as painted ornaments.I did some gingerbread men and peppermints.I figured why not paint some for Halloween too!

Welcome again and nice job on the wreath and tree! Very clever with the lids.
Deep into that darkness peering, long I stood there wondering, fearing,Doubting, dreaming dreams no mortal ever dared to dream before

I really like that soup can lid idea! I always try to find ways to use things around the house to save some $$$$ Your tree is beautiful! It is nice regular, but when you light it up man does it pop!
My tree is just green, but I stick a lot of (faux) autumn leafs in and all my ornimates, mostly hand made, and honestly I like it better than my Christmas tree... and not just because I like Halloween so much LOL
Hey, one last thing.... how does everyone react to your Halloween tree? People dont quite know what to think about mine. My neighbors mother asked them if I worshiped the devil because of all my Halloween stuff.... now THAT was funny

If I like your product, I MAY buy it... if I love your product, I will just make it myself... for cheaper and better than you did in the first place!

Thanks blackfog!
lzrdsgal-I am the same way with saving the money. We use so many cans that have the pull tab lids that I will always have plenty to paint
I like your idea of the autumn leaves.I've already seen autumn leaf garlands at the Dollar Tree.I could get some of those and make some felt pumpkins for November.

I used the leaf bushes that they have and just poked them into the tree here and there. When I got done you almost couldnt see the tree LOL. I also hung some of those chopped off feet and hands (not many, Im really not into the gore thing) I also print out things off this web site http://store.oph3lia.com/ and paste them onto thick card stock, put a hole at the top with a ribbon and make them into ornies.

Its the easiest if you just copy and paste the stuff in the tiles and coasters section. That way they are already to the size that works best for ornies.

I LOVE YOUR TREE! I have a small one and a few of those ornaments would work, but not to many. I'm wanting to share all these great ideas with my friends, so I've got to get my blog up and going!
