Thread: started painting again

I havent picked up a paint brush in this fashion since about 1992. I've missed painting so much. This was more or less a test piece, something to get my feet wet again. Its gonna take a bit to relearn my techniques and whatnot.

Eek! here is inspired by those vintage cut out decorations from the 70's and early 80's, thus the simplicity. I have a companion piece planned for this to make it a set.

This is acrylics on canvas.

Hey that's cool! I've just recently picked up the brush again myself. I've started dabbling a little in Halloween paintings myself. My avatar picture is kinda small, but it's acrylic on canvas as well.

But back to your painting, it does look really cool. Can't wait to see the companion piece.

I did this today. Its meant to be a part of my series thats going to be based on the vintage decoration. I titled this one Witches Brew.
