My soon to be 4 year old loves Jack and Sally and wants her bedroom to be a Nightmare Before Christmas room. Does anyone have any cool pics or ideas of a child not teenagers nbc room? I found this but it was a bathroom

I wanted her room to still be childlike not too creepy any ideas? She wants her room to be black and white of course but some hot pink in there. Also right now her room is done in an aquarium and she has jellyfish "hanging" or floating from the ceiling. I love her having things hanging from the ceiling what could I hang from the ceiling? Zero? pumpkins? Thanks for all of your ideas will post pics

Oh one last thing. I am having her bedding made along with her valances. Here is a pic of the quilt it will have stitched all of the characters of nbc. The valances will have the black and white stripes and polka dots from the bedding.

don't want to post any links and get in trouble for spam, but if you google MTV's Cribs for Rob Zombie he had an awesome bedroom based on NBC
"We accommodate the living, but who shall accommodate the dead?"
"We say haunted, but we mean the house has gone insane."

Si-cotik, I never saw Rob Zombie's bedroom but I would love to see it. At least I was told it was the bedroom. My sister favorites the Nightmare before Christmas, She has a theme going in her Den-Computer room.

Yes it was Rob Zombie's bedroom. Unfortunately I couldn't find pics on just the room but Youtube has the MTV cribs episode with his house in it. I also love his pirate bar and classic horror movie set up.
Here's what I found on Extreme Makeover: Home Edition http://abc.go.com/shows/extreme-make...n-family/29738"We accommodate the living, but who shall accommodate the dead?"
"We say haunted, but we mean the house has gone insane."

If you don't want her room to be too creepy I would suggest using as little black as possible; I'm saying this only because when her preferences change and she wants the room in a different colour it will be hell to paint over, also black is known to induce nightmares, alongside other deep or strong colours that our eyes have trouble focusing on. So black can make a good accent colour but not a base to build off of. For a colour pallete I think soft grays, purples, or tasteful oranges could really make for a bright and cheery room.
There are a number of NBC themed rooms if you hit up google, this is one of the first I found by doing a quick search. As you can see small simple decorative accents can make a big impression. I think it's lovely that you're using striped fabirc, it's the first thing that popped into my mind, so a matching valance and quilt is a great start. You could embellish picture frames in her room if she has them, add some decorative throw pillows, maybe dress up a nightstand lamp. It depends on what you have to work with already. There are also lots of NBC products available, but they cost a mother so it depends on your budget. I'm not a massive NBC fan, but I was when I was younger so I couldn't pass up buying plushies when they came out a few years ago... Oogie is my second fav.
If you're looking for something to hang from her ceiling you could, if you're crafty, do up a bat chandelier or these delightful paper lanterns. Be careful not to overdo the room though, it can be costly (so set your budget) and there's nothing more disappointing then putting all this work into the room only to have her change her mind nearly a year later (I did that to my mom when I was little..she raged pretty hard lol).
Hope that helps.
