Thank you , no not a proffessional lol....just like altering dolls. Been doing it since i was a kid.wish i still had the dolls though.
Hubby thinks i should make more and sell them....what would be a fair price if i did? It cost me arounf 35 to make it.and 4 days.
Working on a jack skelington next for my son. Thank god they love wierd stuff like me.
As for the fixing him....well the floor varathane i used did crack it a bit and smudged a bit of the airbrushing but it looks like road rash up close...so i left it.Next time i will try a spray on sealer. It did make it hard though.
And thanks again for that eye tut....printing them out and using a bit of modge podge inside of a toy baby rattle worked awsome.

your dolls look great. can't help with your sealers though. 2 that do a lot of building here are lauriebeast and terra. don't know if this would fall in their expertise or not, but they do excellant work and might be good direction to check out.

when i took doll classes she always charged double what it cost to make so when i make a craft i keep track of how much it cost me then i double that price for what i charge. i took a wood craft as well and that is how she did it as well. you never get back for the time you put in the doll. this is just a suggestion. anyone else with suggestions?

The problem with most dolls is that their skin has some type of oil in it, I find the same problem with dolls. You can try scrubbing the doll really good with dawn next time and dousing it with alcohol, sometimes that will take some of the oil off the top... adleast enough to keep paint etc on... you can also try using a spray primer after the dawn/alcohol. Goodluck, and nice work
