I LOVE clowns. Why? Because so many people HATE clowns!
I'm not great at putting together costumes from random things, like jeans shirts, so I'd love to see a photo after you have yours completed. I sewed my clown costumes using "typical" clown fabric and a pattern...I like them...but they're a bit boring/uncreative.

I bought my wife a sewing machine for Christmas this year, and Im going to try to make a freddy sweater.I think im going to get a red one and just put green strips acrossed it.I figured I cant find the freddy prop,so if I want 1 ill just have to build the entire thing.

Love the pics Fangoria. Great costume and makeup job. Love those red sneakers especially! What did you do for the giant meat cleaver prop?

Hallorenescene, it was totally a fluke which turned out well. I went to the local thrift shop to buy a funky tie and this was the one I chose. Then come to find out it worked well with my color scheme. I got the little hat I'm wearing from a 3 inch strawberry shortcake doll and just atteched it to my head with a little liquid latex. My friends got a kick out of that.
Ghost of spookie, I drew the shape on two pieces of cardboard, glued them together so the prop would be stable, then I used silver paper found at my Hobby Lobby store to cover the blade, and just painted the handle a wood color.
