I use Michaels and thrift stores like Amvets are good for wreaths that only need some minor touching up (i.e.: a can of black spray paint can make any floral wreath a wonderful Halloween canvass.)

Fabulous job Halloweenie! You've reminded me how much I really need to get started on my own. I've had the components sitting in the closet for about two years now - LOL

I made some garland and matching wreath last year and loved them so much that I am making more garland again this year.
They started out as a green christmas wreath and garland from dollar tree. I spray painted them black and added ribbon and christmas bulbs (in halloween colors of course). I know they may be too cutesy for some of you but they are right up my alley.
The Candy corn wreath I made in 2008. I copied this wreath from one I saw in a store that was $20. Mine cost a whole $5 and was fun to make. The candy corn pieces are made of 3 layers of foam that I painstakingly cut out and glued by hand. Added some ribbon and painted wooden stars on to a white wooden wreath form and there it is!
Thanks for looking!

Nice garland! I will have to take a picture of my wreath as I added to it over the weekend.
Is it Halloween yet?

That wreath looks amazing, it should grace the door of every haunted house.
