I used an old mirror frame by gluing Dollar Tree skulls to it, spraying the whole thing black, and dry brushing it gray. We used the frame with the Magic Mirror effect. It looked great!

so my question to you is what does your frame look like? is it a frame you wouldn't want messed up. and how big is your frame. you could change it to a picture frame and put a lenticular picture in it. and i bought a magazine that tells how to make your reflection upside down. if this is something anyone would be interested in, let me know. i love all the ideas posted so far.

Take 2 pieces of plexiglass cut to the right shape and fill it with water and goldfish.

Infront of the broken mirror lay a Oui-Ja board with a tall pile of ashes , shoes on the floor, ash tray with a smouldering butt sitting there.
OOps! I guess Bloody Mary was waiting in the mirror, darn Oui-Ja helped her make things happen...."My Insanity is well-respected, until they wiggle free and become a stringer for a tabloid"

Those Mirrors Look Great! –

Especially great because I see my own reflection in both of them!
hahahah!
I once Dremelled a life-size skull from plexiglass then stretched cob webs over it as I placed it in the corner of an old mirror so the skull was transparent enough and hidden some via the webs so in a dim light some weren't quite sure if they were seeing the skull or if they were imagining it.... Therein lies the FUN!
When you pull their imagination into it.
Then anything is "possible".
We don't know what their phobias or fears are, but their imagination knows, get them filling in the blanks and then stand back and watch what happens!
I believe that this is the ultimate Scared-You power trip. It goes way beyond just screaming, startling them, but it also a powerfull thing and should not be misused or abused.
Them laughing is a wonderfull "reset"."My Insanity is well-respected, until they wiggle free and become a stringer for a tabloid"

absolutely!!! everyone psyches themselves out at some point or another. thats where we get them!!
I didnt know where to put this post so i figure its close enough to a mirror to put in here. i would love to see the original posters mirror frame though.
this is just a wooden frame that seems to have had an interchangeable calendar in it at one point. 2 bucks at the goodwill.
i used spackle and regular acrylic paints, the skelly at the top is from that dollar store garland. i think ill add the legs back on but it looked too much like a crucifix thing and i didnt really want that.
anyway....here it is..
