skellycat, note to self....do not put drying mache in sun! That's too bad, I hope you can salvage something...

britishwitch - can you post a pic of the insides lit up? I hadn't ever thought of using foil! I was about to paint the inside of a pumpkin red...but might just wait and try foil instead....or paint the foil red!! LOL

Unfortunately, I have searched through all my pictures and I don't have any that show them in their full glory lite up, but I will post the ones I do have.

You can just see through the holes how the foil caught the colours of the multi-coloured lights. The effect really was quite special.

Awww thank you . My Dad made them for me out of old cardboard, bags of bones from Asda (Walmart), spider webbing and there are even some REAL spiders in there too.

We called one of the Vlad (as in "The Impaler") and the other one Arfer as due to the fact that there were only enough bones to make half a skeleton. LOL

Here is my mache pumpkin this year. I've done a few in the past but the dogs killed them last year (along with about half the other decorations ).

NICE! I love the moss. Sweet touch.

Wow! Those are all so amazing. The only Halloween crafts I've done the last few years are some headstones, a few costumes, and a couple haunted gingerbread houses.

I wish I had some newspaper, I'd go attempt a pumpkin!

Nice job on the paper mache everyone! I started a mache pulp pumpkin last year but it's been sitting 1/2 done in a box since the first day
