A while back I purchased some galvanized wire to suffice for ordinary craft wire (I couldn't find a thick enough gauge at any craft store), I'm now stuck with the issue of painting it. I've already tried to use ordinary spray primer but it doesn't seem to be adhering properly....Any suggestions?

Hi DeepSix. I haven't tryed to paint galvanized wire, but found this link on painting galvanized metal. You may need to substitute steel wool for sandpaper since you're dealing with small diameter wire. Hope it helps. Good luck.

Just a little word here , not knowing if you , or others are aware of it .
If welding/brazing , or soldering galvanized metals , make SURE your outside due to the poisonous gas's released when heating . ( caused from the zinc )
