    Default Babypede

I finally got Babypede to stand on his own!!! I had to take him apart feed wire from the top of his head through all the bodies to the base doll. Then drill holes in 4 of the base legs and pour kwikcrete into the legs and the body to give it some extra weight. He isn't finished as I need one more medium size doll on his tail to bring it up higher in proportion with the front part. Also need more small arms to attach to the tail but I just set it on there so you can see how he will eventually look. I will also paint it all one solid flesh tone color to make him more consistent and hide all the hot glue and drill holes in his legs. But so far he is looking creepilly good.

Babypede has been my funniest project to date, but I have a weird sense of humor!!!

THANKS! My son still won't look at it. He says it is disgusting and leaves the room!

That's friggin terrifying. Must've been fun to make, though! I feel like the only way it could be creepier would be if you antiqued it. Ugh..

It was truely an odd experience... after a couple glasses of wine just undressing all those dolls left you with a feeling of "this is just not right!" and then getting into it after ripping off all their heads and ramming body parts into other body parts just seemed well, just creepy (but funny) But good idea on the antiqueing it up a bit, I know I plan on doing his eyes red instead of those baby blues. thanks from Kat!

Day off work and decided to give Babypede a paint job (still haven't got to the thrift store for more babies) But thought I could start his paint job I went with a pale flesh tone as I didn't want a cute healthy pink babypede. When working on my stuff I like to take pics at each stage as you can see your mistakes better than when you are staring at it, it is like holding it up to a mirror, same concept. Anyway this pic just struck me as funny and I did not plan that bottle of Stoked vodka his head is sitting on it was just what I grabbed as the paint was wet.
