Grave Candy box –
09-27-2011,11:45 AM

My pic isn't the best, but here it is. I made this grave candy box with a shoe box (that I painted gray) and a piece of cardboard. Cut a hole in the top of the shoebox lid (big enough of a hand to get inside). I used acrylic paints so that the paint wouldn't come off on my hands later on. I used stencils for the letters. I cut out the tombstone shape with an X Acto. I tried to make it look as if it had been there for ages (thus the hole and the uneven sides). I then painted it (I tried to make it look weathered - not sure if I pulled it off or not). I then hot glued the tombstone to the shoebox. I then hot glued moss (bought from the Dollar store) and leaves from outside.
