Thread: Bloody jar candles?

I know I saw a really impressive display of jars that had 'blood' on them with candles inside them on here but I cannot find it anywhere. I have been saving jars and would like to light my gorified bathroom with these candles for my party... does anyone have a link?

The main thing I need to know is what to use for the blood. I usually use either the bottled fake blood you get in the stores or clear glue and food coloring with coffee grounds but it won't stick to the jars. It just slides down and pools in the bottom. Any suggestions?

Thank you for posting this. This exact thing (Pumpkinrot inspired witch jars) are next on our list. It's nice to see someone one do it live and confirm my thoughts on how to go about it. Very cool.
