    I like it!
The only downfall of Halloween is it only happens once a year.

I think they are great! I LOVE the books!! I've been trying to come up with ideas to make some but never thought of paper mache! What did you use for the shape??

Thanks...I used cereal and pasta boxes...then I cut lengthwise down a paper towel cardboard core (bending into the desired shape)....then cut some pieces of cardboard that measure a little bigger than the box (these will become the front and back of the book) leave a small gap between the paper towel cardboard and the larger piece of cardboard (helps create the look of the spine) and paper mache. I filled some with tons of newspaper so that I could sit food trays on them without the worry of them being crushed. I just started a paper mache hutch that will sit upon my folding table to resemble a witchs hutch...which will hold all my witch props/potions and food trays for my party.

I really like them. As a recent first time paper mache person myself, I have found that making your decor from scratch is very rewarding.

    Good job!

Thanks everyone....funny thing is after I made my books (and I made 8 so far) my husband and my son refused for me to add titles to them (like spells, curses, etc) as they want to use them for decorations in the house when the party is over. Hearing that from a 16 year old was the most rewarding compliment ever
