    Thanks

I grabbed some cheep trash bags from the dollar tree (I think they were 11 or 13 oz), then I stuffed them with balled up newspaper- pack it in fairly tight, after I tied them closed I taped down the yellow pull ties (so I could hide them with the stem), grab some curling ribbon, yarn or twine (whatever you have will do) cutting 4-5 large pieces... then I wrapped the string around the pumpkin and pull TIGHT and tie off with a knot again at the top so it can be hidden, repeat this 3-4 more times (use tape to hold them down if they wont stay put) once you are happy with the shape... start paper mache.

For the stem I took 1 piece of paper towel, wet it with water...then ringe it out (this allows the paper mache liquid to coat the paper towel easier), dip into paper mache mix, ringe out and trist and position it onto the pumpkin just like a stem would look (this step takes a while to dry, but it looks really good).

I did try making smaller pumpkins using walmart bags and although they worked they did not come out near as well as my larger ones. Loved making them, the only cost I was out was one bottle of Paprika colored paint from walmart total of $4 and I have made 8 pumpkins so far

BTW...I also added a little shading in the creases of the pumpkins...Good Luck
