Every year I drool over all the neat halloween prints but never can come up with an idea on what to make with them. I especially am drawn to anything with spiderwebs and this year I saw some fabric with a black background and little brite green spider webs all over that I really liked.
What do you guys make? I know I can do throw pillows and such but my couch can only hold so many

I love the prints they have this year, too! I have about 4 purses and a bunch of makeup/art supply zipper pouches i've made with Halloween fabric :P I also just recently made my boyfriend a black bow tie with little green bats. Some of the fabrics like the sheer spider webbed ones make for great curtains or table cloths too

Yep, that's what the wife does! When it doubt you can always make table runners or furniture accents

I, sadly, can't sew to save my life! But I enjoy looking at the fabrics. JoAnn's does have some nice fabrics and I'm hoping to get something new this year to drape over my witches table.
    Is it Halloween yet?

Those are some ideas I never thought of Wendy. I am also thinking of just buying a little of every print I like each year and make a patchwork quilt.
I used to pick up halloween craft patterns back in the 80's that would probably work,I need to dig those out. I wonder if they even still make them...back in the good old days of JoAnns I would even keep all their ads because they used to showcase such neat projects and have free direction sheets to give away.

If you can find panels ( or any fabric will do whatever you like)frame them for instant art....or this way too http://www.crazydomestic.com/2010/06...-wall-art.html

I really like the instant art idea! I see them do this all the time on HGTV for inexpensive wall art.

Two or three years ago I was at a Joanne's during the off-season and saw several bolts of Halloween fabric at 75% off. I grabbed them, ran to the cutting table and said "I'll take all of it!" Of course when I got home I had no idea what to do with all that fabric, especially since I don't know how to sew. So, as others mentioned above, I use a lot of it to cover tables and cabinets (a la Sandra Lee).

Some of the fabric is very shimmery with stars and moons which I thought would make a nice witch's cape, but since I can't sew, the idea just stays...an idea.

Tarker Midnight, sound like you need to find a pattern and a seamstress to make it for you. Funny story though.
