    I was looking for some easy halloween crafts and came across this SUPER EASY one. I just had to share!

    That is a nice craft! The paper defintely gives the hat a nice looking texture.

    "dry brushing" is a method used by blotting MOST of the paint off of the paint brush onto a rag or papertowel and softly dragging the paint brush across the surface of the project to give a light "dusting" of color and this still allows for the main color in the crevices to still be visible. when drybrushing dont go into the crevices, drag the paint brush accross the raised portions only.

    I don't have any plans for a witch, but I still think this turned out great. They remind me of the hats in Harry Potter too.

    I had always wanted to try this. It looks like a nice stress free project. I tend to go with the projects that take weeks, and months! It would be nice to do something with more instant gratification for once.

    Those hats look great! The 'modification' options are endless... maybe a coat of glow-in-the-dark clear paint?
