Not sure if this really belongs here or in OT but it can be used for Halloween crafts. My local Joann has the large tubes of Liquitex Basics (50% off - $4.99) as well as the jars Soft Acrylics (40% off - $3.99-4.99) on clearance, as well as some of their in-house brands and many of the boxed sets. I bought primary colors just to have them (one benefit claimed on the tube is that they're water resistant... not sure how that's a selling point for artist's paint), but I'm sure the artists out there can use more than that. It's not really any better than the coupon sales but you would be able to get everything you want at once rather than doing coupon by coupon.
