What is better...paper clay or lightweight stone clay?

I am attempting to make the evil duck from the nightmare before xmas, and am going to be using styrofoam balls and probably floral foam from the dollar store...i was then going to papermache one layer so that it stays together then put clay on top of the paper mache...

I bought paper clay from Michaels (as it seems alot of people use it on here), and was just curious as they did have lightweight stone clay..this is my first experience with clay so not sure the pros and cons of either.

I really like paper clay for detail stuff, but I think you might be better off using Celluclay for the bulk part of your project. http://www.activaproducts.com/produc...ture/celluclay
    Good luck with your project

You know a similar question came up on HauntForum today; I have been checking into this lately because I intend to apply 3d details to my Pumpkinrot scarecrow using Celluclay. I am just starting the facial features this week. Maybe this will help, hopefully you can view the threads????

Perhaps you didn't copy the 'BB code' that's under the picture? It is a bit tricky to figure out how to post pictures here.

Here's a tutorial thread on how to post pictures. You can also practice there: http://www.halloweenforum.com/genera...sting+pictures

The duck is looking good by the way!
