Okay, so last Halloween I searched the internet HIGH and LOW for a crocheted doily pattern that looked like a spider web with very minimal success. Anyone out there have any ideas or places/pattern of reference? I finally made one that turned out fairly well but it still wasn't quite spider web like enough for me.

    Thanks for the help.

I don't crochet, so I might not know exactly what you had in mind, but I like the crocheted spiderweb at this address: http://www.crochetnmore.com/spiderwebtabletopper.htm

Giggle....that's exactly what I've been looking for!!! The pattern looks so easy but I can't figure it out on my own. Hate paying someone $5 for something so simple, especially when I'm doing the work

Guess I'll have to think about how important it is to me LOL

Thanks to others who also replied. I tried a couple of those but they didn't have the same look as the one Giggle found. Appreciate all the responses though.

I'm glad I could help. I've got a deal for you - since I don't crochet, you can make one of these for me and I'll pay you for it. That way you can get your money back on the pattern and it'll all be worth it!

I was searching for templates this morning and came across this:

I know you said you didn't want to pay for a pattern; maybe this will help?
