I made my daughter a chucky doll last year for xmas.I need help and this is the only place i know i can get help...i know its not halloween related, but it is a killer doll! This year she wants a tiffany doll chuckys bride.I'm at a loss.I have a blonde haired bratz doll as close as i can seem to get for her facial features with adding my own homemade eyes and carving her facial features.now i have to make a body and with boobs too.I tried spray foam and was going to carve it and then latex ontop but it didnt seem tough enough.Any ideas ? I am at a total loss.Paper mache is looking the route to go but i am afraid it will look too fake. Thanks ahead of time and yes i'm sorry i said the xmas word.I guess its halloween prop withdrawels and i need to make something creepy to tie me over the long days ahead.thanks in advance

I kept reading & re-reading this thread & had ZERO ideas so I didn't post.

I'd be lazy & just buy the doll.

you could use upholstery type foam, called dense foam it is plyable and can be sculpted I used to work in a mascot shoppe and they used this type of foam for their products you can spray glue the foam onto the doll using a s3m spray adhesive -77 adhesive you and sculpt the features with a sharp knife and a dremel to soften edges, you could use either latex or a product called plastidip to cover it afterwards then paint acordingly

Maybe just a latex section where the chest and cleavage show? The rest of the body could be made with stuffing ( or however you do it). The jacket and dress seem to hide everything else.
That doll looks very tough to replicate! I guess you keep adding layers of latex until the strength felt right, like a mask does.

Hello huggybear, great job on the chucky doll. I actually viewed it twice because it looked so good it looked store bought.

What is giving you the most problem with this project/? Is it the face, the body.. Also, are you looking for a real flesh look, a doll look etc...You had mentioend that you had a doll head similar to hers.. Do yo uwork with clay at all. Depeneding on how familar you are with clay. You could by one of those strofoam balls they sell at the craft stroes and make a new head by adding the clay to the call. It is a lot of work, but with clay, you can do anything and redo it as many tiems as needed.

well undead_october , the problem was the body...more so the chest.I finally figured it out but was looking for a more real flesh look.I did try a bit of clay to actually make a nose as the bratz doll didnt have one. Also added bigger cheeks as tiffany has chubby face. The lips had to go too so did a bit of sanding with the dremel.Heres what i have so far.Now i just have to make the body from material and stuffing. Then the dress, leather coat and then awsome boots...which i am stumped on.I am sure i can make a pair but time is running short.

    Thanks everyone for all suggestions
