Thread: Save me Internet! Pick my costume from what I've got.

So, here I am the day before Halloween...And I'm at a cross-roads. I call upon you! The almighty users of the web to come to my Aid. Please assist me in this great time of need, and you will be rewarded with many internets, flowers, praise, and fortune for years to come.

What I got:

'fancy' wool turtle neck with many moth holes... Two types of pants and a gregarious shirt. Somehow I thought this could become an art critic / cureator / fashion something type...thing... But it would be great if you guys could pinpoint some cultural icon for me or suggest other additions. I have full length wool coats / other sport jackets / sweaters at my disposal.

On the right, we see... well... I'm not quite sure how to describe it really... A green V neck from the 70's and a heavy tan jacket of sorts. This looked like something that someone somewhere would wear.


Other Option:
I have snowboarding gear...Flamboyant rainbow pants, trippy under shirt, rasta hats, goggles, bandanas, etc. I could just wear some of it and say Hey! I'm X famous snowboarder. But being a snowboarder...I feel this is somehow too self indulgent.

In past years I was a misguided suburban white youth (read wigger) It was a fun costume to play and I still have it around...But I don't want it to become my thing...The lines are getting blurred, and I'm afraid of finding myself at home one day with a bottle of MD 20/20 recording my break through rap album on a sony walkman.

Do a zombie. It works with all clothes.

blow out your hair and go as someone from jersey shore

Unfortunately, I have no clothing appropriate for a jersey shore cast member.

Zombie (X) could work, anything can be dead I suppose.

Zombies are big this year (Zombieland, Highschool of the Dead)

Just shred up those clothes, add some dirt.

For the make up: rotting flesh, deep set eyes, bloody wounds.
