Thread: Need Help Deciding for a Party

Hello, everyone! I've been invited to a Halloween party, and the group of friends I'm going with have a theme: musicians. One's going as John Mayer, one's going as Billie Joe Armstrong, one's going from someone from Fall Out Boy, and I forget the rest. They keep asking me to go as Kurt Cobain, and while it would be my honor to rep Kurt, I seriously doubt I could pull it off. I thought about going as Beck, but at that point I'm just going as a guy. Kurt has defining characteristics that Beck doesn't really have.

I've also thought about going as something simple, yet fitting for Halloween.

How about David Bowie?

There is Beck back from the Loser days. He had on the white bell bottoms and the hat. He isn't just "guy" in that one. After that, he was pretty much just guy.

What kind of music do you like? I mean, that should be the deciding factor. You could do Lane Staley, Alice in Chains, from back in the 90s. He had some easy looks to do. You could also go more iconic with a John Lennon look or a David Bowie, like the other person said. You could do a Jared Leto look from 30 Seconds to Mars. I love his look, with the eyeliner and hairstyles.

Haha David Bowie. I like that. Maybe his Nikola Tesla. XD

I thought about a Beatles thing, since we were four guys, but they had their outfits already before I even knew about the party. I listen to Nirvana, Queens of the Stone Age, the White Stripes, Muse, the Ramones, Sex Bob-Omb (their songs were written by Beck).
