Thread: Executioner costume for my 4yr old son

FIRST POST!

My son was watching me play the Resident Evil 5 trailer on PS3 a long while back and as soon as the big Executioner came out he was hooked (and he's only 4 ). I asked him throughout the year what he wanted to be for Halloween and he always said "HAMMERSMASH". The wife and I figured he would change his mind come September.
NOPE. "HAMMERSMASH"!! He would get pretty peeved if we asked him as if there was anything else out there.
So I looked over pictures of the character and his weapon



Then I measured my son and eyeballed what would be the correct measurements for the weapon scaled to his size.
I wanted to put it all together the lightest way possible because it is HUGE and he wants to carry it so I went with regular white styrofoam and pvc.
I guess at this point I can let the pictures do the talking, anything more from me is just blabbing.








It is completed now, I just need one more piece for his costume and I will post an updated pic of him in hammersmash mode.

Thank you. He enjoyed it! Now it is on the wall in my garage along with the other cool Halloween weapons of past.
I never took a picture of it with the chain on, bummer.
