So we finally got all the items for my wife's costume and seeing as how we are going to mickeys Halloween party at Disneyland, on Friday I said we need to do a make up test and costume rehearsal ! Well once we saw how awesome her costume looked we got carried away! And yes the lights on herS are all self contained meaning part of the costume! Mine is just lighting in front of me!

So without further ado I present Ezra the hitchhiking ghost and Constance The bride.

Looks great!!! Have fun with a capital F. It sounds like a terrific party to be part of.

WOW!!!!

Those are fabulous costumes, absolutely fabulous. Have lots of fun and take lots of pictures!!

So I wanted to give you an update on the Mickeys Halloween Party at Disneyland on Friday. We arrived at the park at about 4pm and as soon as we got to the parking garage, people were going crazy. We got told by laterally 100's of people (and not exagerating ;-) that we had the best costumes, or how great our costumes looked, or how scary we looked. And that was before the sun went down and we turned on the lights in our costumes. Once that happened it was all over. The sad part was Disney doesnt allow you to take photos with other guests if you are portraying a Disney Character. SO we felt bad everytime we had to say no.

Now for the highlight of the evening.... at the begining of the night, after we had just turned on the lights we were approached by a cast member. My wife and I were both thinking "great, this guy is gonna give us crap about the whole picture thing" He introduced himself and wished us a happy halloween, then he proceeded to ask us how many people were in our party! We both said 2 as we looked at each other with very confused looks on our face. He then said that he loved our costumes and word had gotten around to him about us, and he then asked us if we would like to be in that evenings Halloween Cavalcade parade! You can imagine, being the huge Disney fans my wife an I are , the sheer excitement and disbelief upon hearing this. We of course said YES. We then signed a waiver and were given a special ADMIT ONE Ticket. At 10p, we came back to the same spot where we were met by cast member Lorrie, who told us the rules, what to do and then took us back into the "Cast Members only" area. Total geek out moment ensued. Characters were coming out, saying hi to us and pointing excitedly at out costumes. Bullseye pretended to burn his hoof on the brides candle, Balloo High fived us, donald pretended to be scarred. IT was so COOL. Unfortunatley they do not allow pics back there but they did have one of the Photopass people take a picture of all the guests on our parade car and gave us the print as a thank you :-) we spent the rest of the evening on cloud 9. It was Truly AMAZING and definately made a memory we will never forget. I will try to post pics tomorrow

Thats what Disney is all about! Fun, fun,fun. Congrats on your costumes and cudos on being acknowledged in such high fashion. Like a dream come true for true Disney fans. Looking forward to the pics. Happy Halloween.

Wow! Your costumes are amazing. If I had been at Disney that night I would've gone crazy for you costumes too! As a fellow Disney fiend, congrats on the amazing experience. Backstage and in a float sounds like the perfect Halloween.
