Hey guys,
So, I've spent about $200.00 this Halloween on makeup, sundries, and a foam latex application.
This latex application is giving me HELL.
So, like most foam latex applications, it has an off white color. I have a beige-y cream foundation that works well with my fair skin tone, but when applied to the off-white application, the beige color is MUCH MUCH darker than my face skin tone.
How can I remedy this? The foam latex application is already covered in the beige color, so, now...I must match that color with whatever color is on my face.
Phew. Hopefully someone has some awesome wisdom to help me out.
Thanks, everyone!

Nope, no awesome wisdom, you've already figured it out. Your skin and the prosthetic have to match. Just get a darker shade of foundation, do a little mixing, and it'll be all good. Best of luck, and we LOVE pictures around here. Hint, hint

It depends on the makeup material. Foam latex may have to sealed with a castor sealer inorder to accept makeup. There is different makeup out there. Oil based, water based, etc.
Check with the people at www.mostlydead.com. I ordered a foam latex prosthetic that I will be using.
There is also another site I use. I applied the zombie prosthetics from www.nimbacreations.com. Everyone was very impressed with it. Unfortunately, theirs is a gel form and 1 time use. But, it was fantastic and so REAL in appearance.
Great choice to use prosthetics. These give a realistic appearance.
