Has anyone used a Ghillie Suit for a scare? I'm thinking of making one for a helper to use in the woods in Boo Gardens. If you've had experience using one I'd love to know how it worked out . And if there are any hints on making one - that would be great. Thanks.

I was going to make a gillie suit this year but ended up buying one on ebay for $40 (+$9 ship) By the time I figured in time and the cost of supplies it was well worth it. Our local surplus store was selling them for $150. I just wish I could find a good deal on camouflage netting now.
I'm looking forward to what others say about making one. We may add a couple more next year if the price is right =)

Yes I have. In the dark, if the actor crouches and sits very still it looks like a bush. We use two in our haunt and they are very effective.
As far as making one, I have no tips to offer. We purchased ours at a surplus store.
