Hello Halloween fans,
As a proud first time Daddy, I am excited about having a costume for our beautiful baby girl...who will be 2 months this Saturday!
I know she won't even know what's going on, but her Daddy will being a Halloween/classic monster fan.
So here's my basic idea: Long story short, she is going to be the Princess Ananka, Egyptian Mummy girl from the classic Universal Kharis series (without the sordid tale with Kharis!)
No, I'm not going to wrap her up (maybe a little) but I was thinking of an Egyptian Princess headgear to go with her Mummy bib, dressed in all white.
Any ideas on the headgear? I can make something out of construction paper. Just probing the ideas of fellow Halloween fans....Thanks!

You might think about attaching the headdress to a baby cap, since they need them so often at that age, and it would keep it on, also. Since it would be so small, you could make that style Egyptian hat out of felt, just gluing it together. Maybe attach the final product to the cap with a stitch or two.
Maybe you can't wrap her up, but you could draw with a black Sharpie on a onesie and make it look like she's in bandages.

Great idea, by the way. So cute.

Thank you Nightbeasties, great ideas!
I like the Sharpie and the felt headdress. I will post pics after the Holiday.

I always added mine to a beanie. And for the body I would use some tea soaked gauZe, just cut and glued in strips rather then wrapped. Congrats on the new babie. Don't forget to turn her stroller into a tomb or a chariot or whatever those things are called.... Lol
