    Default "disemboweled" costume – 10-05-2010,03:53 PM


    What would you use for the bowels/guts/blood in a costume where the person was disemboweled? I'm wondering what to use to keep it shiny and wet looking.

    For guts, stuff some stockings with packing peanuts and coat with latex?
    To keep it shiny/wet, paint with a clear coat paint, or rub a thin layer of petroleum jelly?
    Maybe look into pearlescent/metallic paints to mix with regular paint to add some shine but not a full shimmer?
