hey everyone, i know im still a new guy around here (have only posted in the 'introduce yourself' area), but just got done with my first halloween costume makeup trial and really want to post it
this year im going to be a "sewer creature"
i found a green jumpsuit at goodwill for $6, and have been watching a lot of halloween tutorials on youtube to give me some good ideas.
i started working with liquid latex last year while making my "zombified priest" costume and loved it, so im moving on to bigger and better things this year! im just getting started with homemade latex prosthetics and fake skin.
i made a scaly skin latex prosthetic, i plan to do a few on my arms and a bigger piece on my face. im trying to make it look like there is reptile skin bursting out from beneath my "human" skin
let me know what you think! =)

Gross!!!...in translation...you hit the mark!
The only downfall of Halloween is it only happens once a year.

Bury it. Might be a little late for that now...but I have used brown paint and sandpaper to "age" fabric before...and you could glue mossy looking stuff to it, and a dark color of spray paint used sparingly could give you a "moldy" look.
And great makeup!! I think you hit the nail right on the head!!

Great looking job!
You might consider these reptile temporary tattoos to augment your excellent latex applications... could save you some time.
