Thread: Spirit Halloween costume question...

I'm looking at this costume on the Spirit site that isn't available in stores. http://www.spirithalloween.com/produ...iress-costume/

My concern is I'm tall (5'10") and I have a problem with length. So I'm wondering if any of you have ever ordered anything like this from Spirit, and if so, how did the sizes run? I'm guessing that it would be too short...but hoping that maybe they run a little long.

It will deffinately be too short just like all the other halloween costumes =P it sucks being tall doesnt it? the great news is i'm sure you can easily find similar fabric to what is used on the bottom layer to add some lenght for cheap if you dont sew just pin the fabric to it!

It is very generously cut. It was very long on me (I have the opposite problem - I am 4'10 1/2"). It is a gorgeous costume. Nothing like the usual cheapie things.

For you I would add a fringe of lace at the bottom of the petticoat. It would be very easy and cheap to make it a little longer. There is quite a bit of lace on the dress so it would look fine.
