I really want to make a costume like this (from the trailer for Phantasmagoria: The Visions of Lewis Carroll):

I already got a Bauta mask that I'm going to spray-paint metallic gray... but how can i do the long-armed part??

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

I'd suggest running a search on "stalk around", in order to see how others have constructed armatures for extending their reach.
